{"id":39704,"date":"2025-06-30T11:14:46","date_gmt":"2025-06-30T11:14:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rsmotorps.com\/maintenance-type-r3-overhaul-on-a-guascor-gas-engine\/"},"modified":"2026-09-09T11:51:50","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T10:51:50","slug":"maintenance-type-r3-overhaul-on-a-guascor-gas-engine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rsmotorps.com\/en\/maintenance-type-r3-overhaul-on-a-guascor-gas-engine\/","title":{"rendered":"Maintenance type R3 (Overhaul) on a Guascor gas engine"},"content":{"rendered":"<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Mantenimiento-R3-Overhaul-sobre-un-motor-Guascor-de-gas-Maintenance-type-R3-Overhau-on-a-Guascor-gas-engine-banner.jpg\" alt=\"Mantenimiento-R3-Overhaul-sobre-un-motor-Guascor-de-gas-Maintenance-type-R3-Overhau)-on-a-Guascor-gas-engine\" width=\"100%\" \/>\n\nThe major<a href=\"https:\/\/rsmotorps.com\/mantenimiento-r3-overhaul-motor-gas-guascor\/\"> maintenance required by Guascor gas engines <\/a>is also known as <strong>maintenance type R3<\/strong>.\n\nCommonly, <strong>this type of preventive maintenance is carried our each 50.400 running hours<\/strong> (whatever the gas the engine consumes).\n\nIn this occasion, we show you some pictures of genuine spare parts we used to carry out the engine Overhaul of that Guascor engine in our facilities.\n\n<strong>Required labor in our facilities was 1-2 weeks in this case, in order to finish everything<\/strong>.<strong> Main repairs<\/strong>, <strong>renews<\/strong>, and <strong>refurbishments <\/strong>we carried out were the following ones:\n<ul>\n \t<li>Renew of main <strong>bearings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n \t<li>Renew <strong>oil pump and water pump<\/strong>.<\/li>\n \t<li>Renew all <strong>pistons, cylinder liners<\/strong>.<\/li>\n \t<li>Refurbishment of <strong>con-rods<\/strong>, changing the <strong>small end bushings<\/strong> and the <strong>bolts<\/strong>.<\/li>\n \t<li>Refurbishment of all <strong>cylinder heads<\/strong>.<\/li>\n \t<li>Check status of <strong>engine block, crankshaft and camshaft<\/strong>.<\/li>\n \t<li>Renew <strong>turbocharger<\/strong>.<\/li>\n \t<li><strong>Generator\/alternator<\/strong> standard checking.<\/li>\n \t<li>Renew <strong>intercooler<\/strong>.<\/li>\n \t<li>Renew <strong>spark plugs, ignition coils and ignition cables<\/strong>.<\/li>\n \t<li>Renew <strong>oil filters and air filters<\/strong>.<\/li>\n \t<li>Renew main <strong>vibration damper<\/strong>.<\/li>\n \t<li>Renew <strong>starter<\/strong>.<\/li>\n \t<li>Renew <strong>thermostats<\/strong>.<\/li>\n \t<li>Painting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nDefinitely these are the labors needed on a <strong>maintenance type R3 of any Guascor engine<\/strong>.
