{"id":39776,"date":"2025-06-30T11:15:56","date_gmt":"2025-06-30T11:15:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rsmotorps.com\/overhaul-of-jenbacher-engines-maintenance-60000-hours-jenbacher-j312\/"},"modified":"2025-06-30T14:25:53","modified_gmt":"2025-06-30T14:25:53","slug":"overhaul-of-jenbacher-engines-maintenance-60000-hours-jenbacher-j312","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rsmotorps.com\/en\/overhaul-of-jenbacher-engines-maintenance-60000-hours-jenbacher-j312\/","title":{"rendered":"Overhaul of Jenbacher engines maintenance 60,000 hours, Jenbacher J312"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This week our team is performing a 60,000 hour maintenance also known as <a href=\"https:\/\/rsmotorps.com\/en\/overhaul-and-overhaul-of-jenbacher-engines\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">overhaul of Jenbacher engines<\/a>, this time the customer chooses to send the complete unit to <strong>RS Motor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Our team and skilled technicians will then leave the unit ready for at least another 60,000 hours of operation where <strong>RS Motor<\/strong> will install original and OEM parts on the engine.<\/p>\n<p>The reconditioning of <a href=\"https:\/\/rsmotorps.com\/en\/jenbacher-gas-engine-overhaul\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jenbacher gas engine overhaul<\/a> is commonplace at <strong>RS Motor<\/strong>. So much so that we consider this work to be routine. <strong>RS Motor<\/strong> is able to perform any overhaul and reconditioning of industrial engine on Jenbacher engines using original\/OEM spare parts at the end customer&#8217;s desired location (on-site at <strong>RS Motor<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>The main tasks to be carried out are listed below. It should be specified that these tasks are generic in all groups, but<strong> RS Motor<\/strong> always adapts to the needs of each of our customers, thus adjusting to the peculiarities of the engines that pass through our workshop:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Disassembly of all the components of the engine block.<\/li>\n<li>Checking the block for cavitations or damage (visual inspection).<\/li>\n<li>Ultrasonic cleaning of the intercooler.<\/li>\n<li>Standard reconditioning of the customer&#8217;s cylinder heads or, failing that, RS Motor will supply reconditioned exchange cylinder heads if the customer considers it necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Replacement of the gas injector valves.<\/li>\n<li>Replacement of actuator linkage ball joints.<\/li>\n<li>Replacement of pre-chamber tips.<\/li>\n<li>Replacement of the bronze sleeves.<\/li>\n<li>Replacement of the main bearings.<\/li>\n<li>Replacement of complete pistons (rings, pins and circlips).<br \/>\n&#8211; Replacement of valve tappets (tappets).<\/li>\n<li>Replacement of cylinder liners.<\/li>\n<li>Overhaul of high voltage connections and wiring. Renewal of ignition coils and ignition cables.<\/li>\n<li>Overhaul\/replacement of connecting rods.<\/li>\n<li>Replacement of connecting rod head bearings.<\/li>\n<li>Checking the condition of the crankshaft for subsequent recovery or replacement.<\/li>\n<li>Checking the dimensions and tolerances of the camshaft.<\/li>\n<li>Renewal of camshaft bushes.<\/li>\n<li>Replacement of the vibration damper.<\/li>\n<li>Replacement of engine and alternator rubber bearings.<\/li>\n<li>Standard reconditioning of the turbocharger if the customer so wishes and subsequent assembly of the same on the engine.<\/li>\n<li>Replacement of consumable parts (air filters, main oil filter and spark plugs).<\/li>\n<li>Cleaning of the battery connection terminals.<\/li>\n<li>Supply of a starter.<\/li>\n<li>Replacement of main oil pump.<\/li>\n<li>Replacement of circulating water pump.<\/li>\n<li>Overhaul of timing and replacement of bearings. Supply and replacement of the parts of the timing system that suffer the most wear and tear is included.<\/li>\n<li>Pre-lube pump check\/verification.<\/li>\n<li>Standard alternator overhaul with bearing replacement if required by the customer.<\/li>\n<li>Replacement of throttle shaft.<\/li>\n<li>Replacement of engine-alternator coupling.<\/li>\n<li>Verification of the servomotor.<\/li>\n<li>Assembly of the rest of the minor elements (various gaskets, bearings, screws&#8230;).<\/li>\n<li>Completion of the complete assembly of the engine.<\/li>\n<li>Final hydraulic test of the whole assembly to verify the absence of leaks.<\/li>\n<li>Priming and painting in Jenbacher green.<\/li>\n<li>Moisture-proof packaging for transport <strong>RS Motor <\/strong>&#8211; plant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>At the end, when all the work is finished, <strong>RS Motor<\/strong> starts to reassemble the engine to send it to the customer&#8217;s plant.<br \/>\nFor more information, please contact us at www.rsmotorps.com.
