In this case the work lasted about 20 days as their surfaces were subjected to machining so that the cylinder head seat area was perfectly rectified and to achieve a correct seal against the block.<\/p>\n<p>These machining operations are carried out with the latest generation of grinding equipment and tooling, precise and fast, where the facilities are highly qualified.<\/p>\n<h3>What are the processes for reconditioning Jenbacher 6 series cylinder heads?<\/h3>\n<p>Depending on the workshop, the steps may vary, but there are a number of steps that must be carried out in order for the Jenbacher 6 series cylinder heads to be able to perform their function with guarantees.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reception.<\/li>\n<li>Complete disassembly of cylinder heads and all components.<\/li>\n<li>Ultrasonic cleaning of all cylinder head shells.<\/li>\n<li>Crack free test.<\/li>\n<li>Repair of cylinder-head and cylinder-casing seats.<\/li>\n<li>Replacement of guides.<\/li>\n<li>Replacement of O-rings and gaskets with new ones.<\/li>\n<li>Installation of new intake and exhaust seats.<\/li>\n<li>Installation of new intake and exhaust valves in all cylinder heads.<\/li>\n<li>Replacement of rotocaps.<\/li>\n<li>Replacement of valve springs.<\/li>\n<li>Final hydraulic test.<\/li>\n<li>Complete cylinder head assembly.<\/li>\n<li>Priming and exterior painting.<\/li>\n<li>Packing and shipping.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The use of original spare parts (OEM and\/or genuine) and the experience acquired over the years, allow <strong>RS Motor<\/strong> to carry out any type of reconditioning achieving excellence.<\/p>\n<p>If before a medium or major preventive maintenance (Overhaul) it is detected or suspected that one or more cylinder heads of a <strong>Jenbacher 6 series<\/strong> engine are in bad condition, it is advisable to replace them or recondition them as soon as possible to avoid further damage to the engine.<\/p>\n<p>The importance of a good <strong>Jenbacher 6-series<\/strong> cylinder head reconditioning means a stable and safe engine running, as it is one of the most stressed parts of the engine. These stresses are caused by high pressures and temperatures.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Jenbacher 6-series<\/strong> cylinder heads rarely fail without previous symptoms. However, they must be properly checked and maintained according to the manufacturer&#8217;s maintenance schedule.
