Today, we will talk about the extensive maintenance for Deutz MWM <a href=\"https:\/\/rsmotorps.com\/en\/overhaul-and-reconditioning-of-industrial-engines\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">engine overhaul<\/a>, known as E60 or intermediate overhaul, which is performed between 32,000 and 40,000 hours, depending on the engine type and its year of manufacture.<\/p>\n<h2>MINIMIZATION OF PLANT STOPPING TIME<\/h2>\n<p>RS Motor can carry out this type of <strong>preventive<\/strong> maintenance at our customers&#8217; facilities, eliminating the need to transport the engine. We use exchange parts from our extensive stock of <strong>reconditioned<\/strong> elements to minimize plant downtime and improve productivity.<\/p>\n<p>This maintenance of E60 cogeneration engines involves the replacement of the main wearing components of the engine. It represents the most comprehensive maintenance before the E70 <strong>overhaul<\/strong>. Replacement of the roller tappets.<br \/>\n\u2022 Replacement of the cylinder heads with reconditioned ones. Checking and adjusting the clearance of the intake and exhaust valves and verifying the remaining valve clearance.<br \/>\n\u2022 Replacement of spark plugs and ignition timing check.<br \/>\n\u2022 Assembly of reconditioned intercoolers.<br \/>\n\u2022 Replacement of UPF filters with new units.<br \/>\n\u2022 Inspection and cleaning of the gas-air mixer. This includes replacing the driving band valve kit.<br \/>\n\u2022 Changing the main lubricant oil filters.<br \/>\n\u2022 Changing the oil filter for the <strong>turbocharger<\/strong>.<br \/>\n\u2022 Cleaning of the oil cooler.<br \/>\n\u2022 Checking the condition of the starter pinion and the ring gear.<br \/>\n\u2022 Replacement of the compensators in the cooling circuits, both high and low.<br \/>\n\u2022 Checking the condition of the electrical wiring and sensors.<br \/>\n\u2022 Replacement of the intake air filter.<br \/>\n\u2022 Supply of a reconditioned throttle valve.<br \/>\n\u2022 Renewal of the actuator\u2019s ball joints.<br \/>\n\u2022 Replacement of worn-out silent blocks.<br \/>\n\u2022 Inspection of the condition of hoses and flexible ducts.<br \/>\n\u2022 Start-up and functional testing.<br \/>\n\u2022 Testing of auxiliary groups using the TEM system.<br \/>\n\u2022 Performing E10 <strong>maintenance<\/strong>, which involves replacing the oil filter and spark plug washers, once the E60 step is completed.<\/p>\n<h3>TURBOCHARGER OVERHAUL IN THE MAINTENANCE OF E60 COGENERATION ENGINES<\/h3>\n<p>Regarding the turbocharger, it is either replaced or inspected at a specialized workshop.
