The CAT CG170-12 is a gas engine with high electrical and thermal efficiency. Individualized temperature control for each combustion chamber, as well as knocking monitoring for each cylinder, ensure maximum power output whatever the type of gas (even if its composition is not stable). The gas mixer and TEM allow the engine to be used in a wide variety of different gases. The TEM system controls both the engine and the entire group, including the heat supply from the cogeneration plant.
