The CAT CG260-16 is a gas engine with high electrical and thermal efficiency. All the elements that make up the CAT CG260-16 are monitored through the TEM system. The TEM not only controls the engine, but also includes the control of the entire genset. Thanks to the long maintenance intervals (Overhaul to 80,000 hours of operation), the CAT CG260-16 engine can run 200 hours longer than other similar engines in terms of power. The CAT CG260-16 includes improved turbochargers and an optimized wastegate.
