The Jenbacher Type 2 engine was introduced in 1976 and has been improved since then. It offers extremely efficient performance in the 250 to 350 kW power range. Its rugged design and stationary engine concept translate into excellent component durability and a lifetime of 80,000 hours of operation before the first major overhaul. Its optimized components and effective control and monitoring concept give this engine exceptional reliability.
